Witch Fever have announced their new album 'FEVEREATEN' and shared early single 'The Garden'
Manchester four-piece Witch Fever reveal their second album, expanding their sound while exploring religious trauma and mental health themes.

Witch Fever have announced their second album 'FEVEREATEN', set for release on 31st October via Music For Nations / Sony. The Manchester four-piece have also shared new single 'THE GARDEN'.
The follow-up to 2022's 'Congregation' was produced by Chris W. Ryan, known for his work with NewDad, Just Mustard, and Enola Gay. The new record sees the band - Amy Walpole (vocals/lyrics), Alex Thompson (bass), Alisha Yarwood (guitar), and Annabelle Joyce (drums) - expanding their sound with elements of metal, ambient, hardcore, and slowcore, incorporating cello and noise textures.
"We wanted to sound bigger," Thompson explains. "To push our sound in ways we couldn't in a room together."
The band elaborate on the new album: "FEVEREATEN is raw, vulnerable, haunting and furious. Where our debut album Congregation dealt with my experience growing up in a Charismatic Christian church head on, FEVEREATEN takes a step back, finding horror in the subtleties of dealing with religious trauma, as well as mental health struggles, relationships and nearing 30 in a world that's eating itself alive. Whilst the album is dark and unforgiving in places it is also heartfelt and joyful in others. It doesn't take itself too seriously and asks you to find excitement and life in difficult times."
