Wynona Bleach have released their second album, ‘Animal Style’, out now via Fierce Panda Records in the UK and Propeller Sound Recordings in the US.
The Belfast quartet's follow-up to 2022 debut ‘Moonsoake’ was produced by band member Jonny Woods alongside Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh. Recorded in an old ballroom above a working men's club in Belfast, it's the band's first full-length release since becoming a four-piece.
The album follows the release of singles ‘Be Positive’, ‘Religion’ and ‘Not Cool With It’, with focus track ‘Shrink’ arriving alongside the full record.
Speaking about the album, the band say: “Animal Style is a return to the band’s basic loves - a more guitar-focused record, with less guitars. It’s about instinct and energy, trusting the songs and playing them like we do live.”
Wynona Bleach will support the release with a run of UK dates this June.
