Simple Things has announced the first wave of artists for its 2026 edition, alongside a new curator-led format that will see Squid, Shabaka and Jeremy Deller help shape the festival's line-up.
The Bristol festival returns on 7th November, taking over venues across the city including Bristol Beacon, Strange Brew, Rough Trade and The Sportsman. This year's event will also expand into Shredenhams, the former Debenhams department store that has since been transformed into a skatepark and events space.
For the first time, Simple Things will feature four guest headliners who will each perform and curate part of the programme. Squid, Shabaka and Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller have been confirmed as the first three curators, with a fourth still to be announced.
The first wave of artists includes Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, Moor Mother, Nathan Fake, caroline, Chanel Beads, Cloud Nothings, Mykki Blanco, Lord Spikeheart, Gold Panda, PVA, Safety Trance, Joy Guidry, H31R, KAVARI, MGNA Crrrta and Water Damage.
Curator-specific line-ups are set to be revealed at a later date.
Simple Things takes place across Bristol on Saturday 7th November. Tickets are on sale now.
