Yungblud has shared his personal new single, ‘Hated’

It follows the release of single ‘Lowlife’ in June.

Artists: YUNGBLUD

Yungblud has released new single ‘Hated’.

The track comes after posting a candid update yesterday (August 23rd), telling fans about a time he was sexually abused by a doctor when just seven years old.

He went on to describe how he hadn’t told anyone about the incident until writing the new track, when he revealed it to his producer.

You can read the full update below.

It continues a new era for the artist, following the release of single ‘Lowlife’ in June. His third, self-titled, studio album was released in September 2022.

A very personal offering, you can check out the video for the track below.

If you’ve been affected by any of the subject matters in the track, support is available through Childline or NSPCC. Young people up to the age of 19 who have been impacted by sexual abuse, or any other issue, can contact Childline for free, non-judgemental and confidential support and advice, 24 hours a day on 0800 1111 or via www.childline.org.uk. Anyone concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a young person can contact the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000 or via [email protected]. Here adults can also get support about sexual abuse they may have experienced as a child.
