About This Track

A night out at a gay bar, a stranger with a tube of glitter, a moment of pure exhilaration. That's the origin of 'Glitter', BENEE's ode to connection and the small gestures that make a night feel electric. The song builds around a simple, sticky metaphor: two people clinging together like glitter, inseparable and shimmering. It's a love song dressed up as a party track, urgent and playful in equal measure. The lyrics move between invitation and plea. BENEE sings of late nights and the desire to stay close, to make something private and shared out of the chaos around them. There's a racing quality to the production, a sense of time running out, of wanting to hold onto something before the moment dissolves. The glitter isn't just decoration; it's a stand-in for intimacy, for the way certain nights and certain people leave a mark that won't wash off.
