About This Track

blackbear builds around a simple, repeating boast: woke up rich, living without limits. The track features lil aaron and runs on a hook that hammers the same phrase across every section, a strutting declaration of wealth and status that doubles as both punchline and mantra. There is little pretence to the song's ambition; it exists to celebrate excess and swagger, the kind of track that announces itself before it arrives.
