What Kendrick Lamar was answering on ‘Euphoria’, and why Drake’s AI 2Pac verse mattered

Future and Young Thug trade verses over a trap beat built on repetition and swagger. The track moves through boasts about material excess, from foreign cars to designer clothes to watches that cost houses. Future's delivery is characteristically rapid and slurred, whilst Young Thug adopts a more melodic approach, his voice pitched high and elastic against the same braggadocio. The song's title plays on the slang term for lying; throughout, both rappers insist they're telling the truth about their wealth and status, even as the hyperbole mounts. The production is minimal and propulsive, letting the vocals sit front and centre. There's little here beyond the flex, but the track's economy of purpose and the contrast between the two voices give it a certain momentum.
"No Cap" is a track by Future, from the album SUPER SLIMEY, released 20th October 2017. Full lyrics are available below.

Rockstar has confirmed a dynamic score and an evolved in-game radio system for ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’, while keeping the mechanics under wraps.

The liquid-filled limited edition sold out in under an hour, with resale listings now reaching more than four times its £108.99 original price.

A 34-track soundtrack featuring Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Keith Richards and more will arrive alongside ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ on 19th November.

A wave of GTA VI-styled social posts has prompted soundtrack speculation, but the publicly reported confirmation list is far shorter.

Spotify billboards using the same visual language as a wave of musician posts have prompted speculation about a 'GTA 6' campaign, though neither Spotify nor Rockstar has confirmed a partnership.
