Lyrics

Chrysalis

This song's about dogs and monkeys written sitting in a car
Trying to summon the courage to get earnest but i can't
I can't even summon the interest
So instead I'll get to work on something else

Form a perfect Chrysalis
Fill it with piss (uh)

Form a perfect Chrysalis
And fill it with piss

I think back to a time when anecdotes form life before my very eyes

Like my boss in a store cupboard
Stood in his pants
Taking his clothes out the chest freezer on a hot day

"I'll be with you in a minute Josh"
"No worries Andrew you take your time mate, I'm more then happy"

Form a perfect Chrysalis
And I fill it with piss

Form a perfect Chrysalis
And then fill it with piss

There's a bloke in the airport with his girlfriend
And she's crying her eyes out

He's saying
Can I have a hug
Can I have a hug
Can I have a hug
She's saying no
You can't

Form a perfect Chrysalis
And then fill it with piss

Form a perfect Chrysalis
Fill it with piss
