About This Track

'idgaf' by Grimes is a 2025 Dance track from the album 'idgaf - Single'. The lyrics are a sharp, defiant take on love, conflict and rivalry, with the singer pushing back at the idea of playing it fair. There’s a recurring refrain that frames winning as pointless, then answers with an outright refusal, as in “I don’t give a fuck, I’m insane”. The vocal thread swings between disbelief and bravado, turning dismissal into momentum, while the imagery of walking through someone’s mind sits alongside an escape fantasy.

"idgaf" is a single by Grimes, from the album idgaf - Single, released 23rd February 2025. The track is 2:14 long. It's filed under Dance. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 6 articles about Grimes.

Lyrics

idgaf

You know, not everything is fair in love and war
I didn't know that before
Everyone plays to win
But what for?
I don't give a fuck, I'm insane
Everybody walk through my brain
One day, you told me, I'll fly away
Same
You think I'm too crazy, ayy
So what? So what? So what? So what? Mm
Everyone has the same face
Talkin' at me, can't hear what they say
I don't give a fuck, I'm insane
Everybody walk through my brain
One day, you told me, I'll fly away
Same
I don't give a fuck, I'm insane
Everybody walk through my brain
One day, you told me, I'll fly away
Same
