About This Track

'More' is a song about longing that builds from quiet desperation to something approaching acceptance. Halsey moves through images of absence, waiting rooms, empty drawers, a photograph, each one a small monument to someone not yet arrived. The repetition of the title phrase becomes both plea and promise, a refusal to let go even when hope feels irrational. The song's emotional weight comes from its specificity.
