About This Track

'Ring Road' by Model/Actriz is an alternative track on the album 'Pirouette', released in 2025. The lyrics circle around driving, repetition, and a desire to let go, setting up a swing between happy and pain that never quite settles, then returning to the idea of another lap. The speaker sounds as if they are using motion to blur the contrast, with the refrain-like pull of “Riding the ring road” bringing you back again and again.

"Ring Road" is a track by Model/Actriz, from the album Pirouette, released 1st May 2025. The track is 2:04 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 9 articles about Model/Actriz.

Lyrics

Ring Road

Ride the ring road
Riding the ring road
Somedays I just wanna let the car spin
Somedays I just wanna let myself go

Times of happy forget pain
Times of pain forget happy
Times of happy forget pain
Times of pain forget happy

Ride the ring road
Ride the ring road
Another lap on the road
Times of pain forget happy
