Squid are an English rock band formed in Brighton in 2016. The band includes Ollie Judge (vocals, drums), Louis Borlase (guitar, vocals), Anton Pearson (guitar, vocals), Laurie Nankivell (bass, brass), and Arthur Leadbetter (keyboards). They are based in Bristol. The band released their debut EP, LINO, in 2017, followed by several singles and the EP Town Centre in 2019 on Speedy Wunderground. Their debut album, Bright Green Field, was released by Warp Records on 7 May 2021 and debuted at No. 4 on the UK Albums Chart. Their second album, O Monolith, was released in 2023.

Bristol multi-venue day adds Panda Bear, Moor Mother, caroline and more to bill.

The song underwent a unique development process, beginning as a punk composition before being transformed into a 15-minute jam session.

Squid and For Those I Love join Caribou, Father John Misty, and other acts at End of the Road Festival 2025.

The band will tour Europe and North America throughout 2025, performing tracks from their latest album 'Cowards'.

The full-length is set to land this Friday (7th February).

Squid unveil their Japan-inspired single 'Building 650' and announce 14-date UK tour supporting upcoming album 'Cowards'.

The dystopian-inspired record was produced with Marta Salogni and Grace Banks at London's Church Studios.

The track has been a staple in their live performances for several years.

It arrives ahead of the band's upcoming UK headline tour.

Support on the tour comes from Blue Bendy, Ichigo Evil, Kaputt, M(h)aol, Me Lost Me and Bruce.

Back with a new album, Squid's ‘O Monolith’ is a natural evolution in sound and style.

Alongside the news, the Brighton band have released the lead single 'Swing (In a Dream)'.

The live show will take place on February 9th, 2023.
