About This Track

'Formidable' by The Big Moon is a 2017 alternative song from the album 'Love In the 4th Dimension'. The lyrics weigh a volatile romantic bargain, with an image of love turning dangerous, then insisting on presence and commitment: “I’ll be formidable”. It moves from warning and self-scrutiny to a direct, almost vow-like assurance of loyalty, framing the singer as something you cannot ignore, even when pride has been swallowed.

"Formidable" is a single by The Big Moon, from the album Love In the 4th Dimension, released 6th April 2017. The track is 2:56 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about The Big Moon.

Lyrics

Formidable

Love, you've got an island to sink
Better leave the boat capsizing
Ruminate in passionate sleep
Better be a new sun rising

Did she make you swallow all your pride?
Does the love still shiver down your spine?

Hi, I'm not invisible
I'm on your side
I'll be formidable
I'll be formidable

Yeah let me heal your battle scars
Run my ship to ground
Yeah nothing's going to take me down
Give me everything you got
Let your heart beat loud
Yet nothing can turn me around

Hi, I'm not invisible
I'm on your side
I'll be formidable
I'll be formidable
I'll be formidable
I'll be formidable
