Babyshambles have confirmed a large-scale outdoor date at Margate's Dreamland venue, with the Kent coast show set for 30th August 2026. It represents one of the band's biggest UK appearances since ending their 11-year absence from live performance.
Peter Doherty said: "We are only doing one show in our beautiful and pleasant Albion this year and where better than Margate. A beano is guaranteed for all . Kiss me quick - sun, sea, sand on a Bank holiday weekend….does it get any better?….no."
Supporting acts across the day include
Big Special, Warmduscher, GANS and
Pregoblin.Originally formed by Doherty after leaving The Libertines in the early 2000s, Babyshambles released '
Down in Albion' and 'Shotter's Nation', records that featured tracks such as '
Fuck Forever', '
Delivery' and '
Albion'.
Tickets are available through several stages: artist pre-sale opens on 28th April at 10am, venue pre-sale on 29th April at 10am, and general sale on 1st May at 10am.
