Chicago's Riot Fest is back for another year, with organisers confirming a 2026 edition led by Tool, Twenty One Pilots, Pierce the Veil and Alanis Morissette.

Taking place across 18th to 20th September at Douglass Park, the weekender will also welcome performances from Pixies, Morrissey, Iggy Pop and Elvis Costello & The Imposters.

A sprawling supporting cast rounds things out, including The All-American Rejects, Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, NAS, Sugar, Patti Smith & Her Band, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Bright Eyes, Twin Peaks, Descendents, Taking Back Sunday, The Beths, Gogol Bordello, Santigold, Tricky, Insane Clown Posse and Angine de Poitrine, with many more names beyond.

In a curious bit of programming, the festival has booked both Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter and Public Image Ltd., the latter fronted by John Lydon — whether the two will cross paths is yet to be confirmed.

Elsewhere on the bill sit GWAR, Chat Pile, Show Me the Body, Violet Gohl, Melt-Banana and Afroman.
