FAZERDAZE

Fazerdaze is the musical project of Amelia Rahayu Murray, a New Zealand singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist born on 19 January 1993. She first gained recognition in 2014 with the release of her self-titled debut EP. In 2017, she released her debut album, Morningside, which included the single "Lucky Girl" that became a viral hit. After experiencing burnout and personal challenges, Murray took a hiatus from the music industry for several years. She returned in late 2022 with the EP Break!. Her second album, Soft Power, was released on 15 November 2024 and received critical acclaim. Her music is characterized by intimate, introspective lyrics and dreamy, echo-laden production, with genres including dream pop, shoegaze, and alternative rock.
