GENESIS OWUSU

Kofi Owusu-Ansah, born in 1998, is a Ghanaian-Australian rapper and singer from Canberra. He is the younger brother of fellow hip hop artist Citizen Kay. Owusu's debut studio album, Smiling with No Teeth, was released in March 2021 and reached the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the 2021 ARIA Music Awards, he won four awards, including Album of the Year, Best Hip Hop Release, Best Independent Release, and Best Cover Art, the latter shared with Bailey Howard. In 2023, he released a follow-up album titled Struggler. His third studio album, Redstar Wu & the Worldwide Scourge, is scheduled for release in 2026.
