The Canadian trio will wrap up their 15-year career with a final European and UK tour this November.

METZ is a Canadian punk rock band formed in 2007 in Ottawa and based in Toronto. The band includes guitarist and vocalist Alex Edkins, bassist Chris Slorach, and drummer Hayden Menzies. Edkins has described METZ's style as punk rock "at the core."

The Canadian trio will wrap up their 15-year career with a final European and UK tour this November.

Exploring 'Up On Gravity Hill', METZ's latest album, reveals a band at the crossroads of evolution and innovation, delving into new depths of creativity post-pandemic.

The band's new record is out in April.

The record features guest performances from Amber Webber of Black Mountain and composer/string arranger Owen Pallett.

“‘Come On Down’ was originally recorded during the Atlas Vending sessions but never fully finished,” METZ’s Alex Edkins explains.

Released on 20th May, the self-titled effort comes alongside a new taster, 'Searching For You'.

The 7" is set for release this March via What's Your Rupture?.
