
Hayley Nichole Williams, born December 27, 1988, is an American singer and songwriter. She is the lead vocalist and a founding member of the rock band Paramore. Williams was born in Meridian, Mississippi, and moved to Franklin, Tennessee, with her mother after her parents' divorce when she was 13. She formed Paramore with Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis. The band has released six studio albums: All We Know Is Falling, Riot!, Brand New Eyes, Paramore, After Laughter, and This Is Why. Williams has been the only constant member across all albums. She and Taylor York received the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for "Ain't It Fun." Outside of Paramore, Williams contributed the song "Teenagers" to the soundtrack of Jennifer's Body and collaborated with artists including The Chariot, October Fall, New Found Glory, Set Your Goals, Zedd, Moses Sumney, and Turnstile. In 2010, she was featured on B.o.B's single "Airplanes," which reached number two on the U.S. charts.
