The Cave headliners are confirmed as comedy, Word Stage and fancy dress plans revealed.

2000trees have added Static Dress to this year’s festival line-up, with the band set to headline The Cave stage on Thursday 9th July.
The newly-announced additions also include Tigercub, who’ll play the same day, alongside a huge expansion of the festival’s comedy, spoken word, kids and late-night programming.
On the Word Stage, comedian and musician Andrew O’Neill will present ‘The History Of Punk’, while the comedy bill features Jamali Maddix, Pierre Novellie and Rachel Fairburn among others. Elsewhere, there’ll be pub quizzes, games, Master Taskers sessions and more.
The festival’s famously chaotic kids programming is also returning, including appearances from Shrek tribute band The Ogretones, kids mosh pits hosted by The Backhand Jags, yoga sessions, Drag Queen Story Hour and returning favourites Molly Kidz TV.
This year’s fancy dress theme has meanwhile been revealed as ‘2000memes’. “We’re taking all that online chaos and dragging it out into the open,” the festival says. “Turning it into something you can actually see, wear, laugh at with your mates, engage with, and feel in your fingers... instead of just tapping a screen.”
Silent disco sets across the weekend will come from the likes of Battlesnake, Haggard Cat, Frozemode and Cancer Bats’ Liam Cormier, while Marshall are expanding their festival presence with artist signings, screen printings and an on-site shop.
This year’s 2000trees takes place at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham between 8th-11th July, with Alkaline Trio, Funeral For A Friend and Neck Deep topping the bill. Other acts appearing across the weekend include Glassjaw, High Vis, Lambrini Girls, Superheaven, Mallory Knox, Bad Nerves, The Bronx and Sunny Day Real Estate.
Manchester-formed five-piece Truthpaste don't really do "one sound", but with debut EP 'I Don't Know Either', they're making a very convincing case for all of them at once.
