Arlo Parks has shared ‘Beams’, a raw new glimpse of ‘Ambiguous Desire’
Her club-influenced third record lands Friday via Transgressive Records.

With her third album 'Ambiguous Desire' due out this Friday, 3rd April, via Transgressive Records, Arlo Parks has shared one final track from the project.
'Beams' tackles themes of suicide, self-acceptance and emotional numbness, and follows previously released singles 'Get Go', 'Heaven' and '2SIDED'.
Parks explains the track's emotional core: "It's about the pain of feeling discarded, or feeling like the oldest hurt that you carry around like a stone is a burden not just to you but to everyone around you - the worst fear. It's about numbness and fight, flight or freeze. But it's also about trying to (slowly but surely) want better for yourself and realise that you are loveable as a whole."
