BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has dropped her much teased solo debut project ‘R’.
Containing two new tracks – ‘On The Ground’ and ‘Gone’ – the two track release also comes alongside a video for the former track, which you can check out below. It’s pretty bloody huge.
The project is the first solo release for Rosé. At a press conference earlier today (12th March), she explained her input into the tracks. “Since our fans have waited for it for such a long time, I wanted it to be satisfying,” she revealed (via Korea Herald). “I attended a lot of meetings to convey my opinions for the album, from its cover design to my first song writing.”
“I reflected on myself and realised how much I love music, get comforted and have grown with it. I wrote the songs in English as I thought it was the most fitting language for them. I hope they can comfort listeners as well.”
