5 Seconds of Summer’s Calum Hood has released a new solo single ahead of his debut album

5 Seconds of Summer bassist releases apologetic new single ‘Call Me When You Know Better’ from his upcoming solo debut album.

Calum Hood has shared new single ‘Call Me When You Know Better’, taken from his upcoming debut solo album ‘ORDER chaos ORDER’, due 13th June.

The 5 Seconds of Summer member’s latest track arrives alongside an official video, following previous single ‘Don’t Forget You Love Me’, which was released in March.

“‘Call Me When You Know Better’ is a love letter in the form of an apology,” Hood explains. “For maybe not being the best lover or friend to the people who mean the most to me. Thoughts contradicting one another, talking over each other and stretching reality. It’s a reflection on mistakes made, perpetual regret and self pity.”

Speaking about the album, Hood adds: “There are things I’ve never been able to sing about in the band – my upbringing, my family, the places life has taken me. This album is about laying those things to rest and allowing listeners to connect in their own way.”
