A late addition to the
Coachella 2026 bill has seen
Kacey Musgraves confirmed for a performance at the festival's second weekend. She will take to the Mojave Tent on Saturday 18th April in Indio, California — the same stage where Jack White appeared during weekend one.
Musgraves had been dropping hints about the appearance on social media prior to the official announcement. She shared a video featuring artwork connected to her seventh studio album, '
Middle Of Nowhere', spotted at the side of a road. "Somewhere on the way to ★ 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂 ★," she wrote alongside the post. Full stage times for the second weekend were published by the festival on Wednesday 15th April, with Musgraves subsequently sharing the Saturday schedule on her Instagram Stories.
Her last Coachella appearance came back in 2019. Since then, Musgraves released '
Deeper Well' in 2024 and picked up a Grammy at the 2025 ceremony, winning Best Country Song for '
The Architect'. The forthcoming 'Middle Of Nowhere' follows that record and is set to include the single '
Dry Spell' alongside contributions from Miranda Lambert, Willie Nelson, Billy Strings and Gregory Alan Isakov.
Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G are headlining this year's edition of the festival.
