Kacey Musgraves has detailed an unusual mid-air encounter with unidentified flying objects, posting videos and a lengthy account to her Instagram Story after a plane journey from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville.
The singer-songwriter described noticing three orbs of light outside the aircraft window as she was about to rest. "We just watched these orbs — there were three of them — but I was about to lay down and take a nap and saw these lights that caught my eye and just didn't look normal," she explained.
According to Musgraves, the objects behaved unlike any conventional aircraft. "They were definitely, like, trailing each other," she said, adding that her manager Bobby witnessed them too. "These orbs were not moving like any craft we can control. They were intermittently coming and going, forming triangle patterns. Sometimes they would get extremely bright and change colour, change size."
The sighting reportedly lasted approximately 45 minutes, with the orbs appearing to trail the plane from near Little Rock all the way to Nashville. Once on the ground, Musgraves spoke with the flight crew, who offered a surprising response. "We've seen these every single night," the pilots apparently told her. Relaying their words further, she added: "All the other pilots are seeing them, too, and nobody knows what they are."
Several grainy clips filmed at night were posted alongside her account, showing sources of light moving outside the aircraft. Musgraves, whose Instagram handle is @spaceykacey, called it the "craziest f–king orb UFO experience."
Away from unexplained aerial phenomena, Musgraves has new music on the horizon. Her forthcoming album '
