Maggie Rogers seems to be teasing new music on TikTok, ‘FYI’

It looks like Maggie Rogers is firmly on the teasing trail, as she prepares to return to full action with a new album.

After weeks of mildly poking at our attention with short stabs of the intro to what seems to be a new track on TikTok, she’s finally let more of the proverbial musical cat out of the bag.

In a new video posted today (19th March), Maggie stands on the top of an inner-city building, smoking a cigarette and wearing a very swanky coat – but it’s the sound attached that grabs the attention. The opening lines of something new, she sings: “I found a reason to wake up / Coffee in my cup / Start a new day”.

You can check out the glitchy, addictive snippet below.

That’s not all, either. Last night (18th March), Maggie shared an image on Twitter – which looks like it might be part of some artwork, perhaps?

We learned a few snippets of new info from Maggie about her forthcoming album when she took part in a fan Q&A on Discord earlier this year. You can read more of that here. She’s due back on stage for Coachella next month, so expect this one to develop quickly.
