Niall Horan has dropped his new single 'Dinner Party'
The single is the title track from his fourth album, arriving in June

Niall Horan has unveiled 'Dinner Party', a new track that lends its name to his forthcoming fourth solo studio album, due out on 5th June.
Horan co-wrote the single with John Ryan, Jamie Scott, Afterhrs and Julian Bunetta. The wider album saw Horan working with an extended group of collaborators including Amy Allen, Ian Franzino, Andrew Haas, Steph Jones, Rocky Block and Joel Little, while Bunetta and Ryan took on executive production duties.
Speaking about the record, Horan said: "Dinner Party is a thank you to the past and a hello to the present, covering the big life events and the small, sometimes messy, in-between moments that actually make them up. Much of the album explores that tug of war between falling in love while being terrified of losing them and how that risk is actually the best part. There's love, intimacy, fear, loss, hope, dreams—all wrapped together across it."
The title track documents the evening he first crossed paths with girlfriend Amelia Woolley. Written last summer while renting a house in Surrey, England, the song captures a moment that Horan says changed the trajectory of his life — and his next record.
Speaking to Capital Breakfast, the Irish artist described how the track became the foundation for his forthcoming fourth studio album. "This was the [song] that I was like, 'OK, this is where the album starts from here,'" he explained. "Because my relationship started on the night that this song is about. And I realized that that dinner party became a bigger thing than just sitting around, getting drunk and having a bit of food. It's become the next six years of my life and hopefully the rest of it. So, yeah, it allowed me to then go and write songs that were about all of the moments of this said relationship."
When first announcing the single on social media earlier this month, Horan offered further context: "This song is about a really happy and big moment in my life. An evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life. after writing the song, the words 'dinner party' became the nucleus for the rest of the record. that once in a lifetime moment that i am grateful for and for everything that came after that night."
The pair originally met through mutual friends at a dinner party, an occasion that sparked a relationship now spanning six years. Horan's upcoming album follows 2023's 'The Show', his most recent solo LP and third overall since departing One Direction.
