Glasgow's San Jose have shared their new single 'I've Got You', marking their first release of 2025.

The six-piece band, known for their theatrical live performances, have crafted a six-minute track that blends post-punk energy with orchestral elements, produced by Christopher McCrory (Walt Disco, Catholic Action, Joy Hotel, Flat Party).

'I've Got You' arrives as the band continue to build their reputation through their distinctive live shows, having sold out venues including King Tuts - a performance that notably featured the crucifixion of a person in a bear costume.

"'I've Got You' is an unconventional love song at its heart," the band explain. "Instead of following a relationship person to person, we wanted to explore the slimiest depths of self-love, allowing it to realise and personify. Is there a moment of pleasure that goes too far, if so when and why? We ultimately find ourselves in a brothel uniquely suited to ourselves, in each room lies empty, within exists only a mirror from which me must derive love. Confronting your own hedonistic desires is naturally uncomfortable and we wanted that to be represented in how the song sounds."

The band have previously supported acts including Gallus, Courting, and Hotel Lux, and headlined Tenement Trail.
