About This Track
'Coma' by Big Thief is an alternative track from the album 'Capacity' (2017). The lyrics sketch a coercive, intimate scenario, then pivot to an address urging someone to wake from a “protective coma”, with repeated uncertainty about recognition: you may rouse, yet not recognise the house, or the body’s iris. The follow-up to 2019's 'U.F.O.F.' and 'Two Hands' albums will come in 2022.
It includes a three-night stand at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire next March.
