About This Track

A meditation on resilience wrapped in the counting game of its title. '2! 3!' invites listeners to move past pain by the simple arithmetic of togetherness: count to three and the hurt dissolves, at least for a moment. The song acknowledges what BTS cannot say directly, the weight of visibility and the wounds that come with it, before pivoting toward gratitude and the promise of better days ahead. The architecture is cyclical. A chorus built on the mantra "it's okay, one two three, forget it" returns again and again, each iteration a small act of collective will. There is vulnerability in the admission of imperfection, in the confession that they wanted to do better, to be better, but the song's real strength lies in its refusal to dwell. Instead it reaches outward, thanking those who have believed in them through the difficult parts, and asking in return for faith that good days will outnumber the rest.

"2! 3!" is a track by BTS, from the album Wings, released 9th October 2016. The track is 4:33 long. It's filed under K-Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about BTS.
