'Cinderella' reunites Future with Travis Scott across an uptempo trap production from Metro Boomin, released on the collaborative album 'WE DON'T TRUST YOU' in March 2024. The track layers luxury imagery, canary yellow diamonds, Cartier buffs, tractor-trailer trap operations, over a shared fixation on codeine and the spoils of success. Future's opening verse sets the template: lean, heavy metal, presidential watches, a posture of excess rendered in clipped, repetitive phrases.
Scott's verse mirrors the structure, trading Future's Rosetta stones for his own catalogue of high-price levels and propane propellers, the two voices circling the same themes without quite converging. The titular Cinderella appears twice, first as 'hot chocolate' in Future's chorus, then as 'African Cinderella' in Scott's closing lines, a figure mixed into vanilla, framed by gold and thug resilience. The fairy-tale reference sits uneasily against the song's materialism, more ornament than metaphor.
The production stays brisk and minimal, leaving room for the two rappers to trade verses in a mode that feels less like collaboration than parallel monologue. The result is efficient, familiar, and entirely unbothered by its own repetition.
"Cinderella" is a track by Future, from the album WE DON’T TRUST YOU, released 22nd March 2024. Full lyrics are available below.

Rockstar has confirmed a dynamic score and an evolved in-game radio system for ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’, while keeping the mechanics under wraps.

The liquid-filled limited edition sold out in under an hour, with resale listings now reaching more than four times its £108.99 original price.

A 34-track soundtrack featuring Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Keith Richards and more will arrive alongside ‘Grand Theft Auto VI’ on 19th November.

A wave of GTA VI-styled social posts has prompted soundtrack speculation, but the publicly reported confirmation list is far shorter.

Spotify billboards using the same visual language as a wave of musician posts have prompted speculation about a 'GTA 6' campaign, though neither Spotify nor Rockstar has confirmed a partnership.
