You Me At Six are calling it a day after 20 years.

You Me at Six are an English rock band from Weybridge, Surrey. The band consisted of lead singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes, and drummer Daniel Flint. The group was formed in 2004, with their name originating as an abbreviation for making Friday night plans after a concert. They released eight studio albums and one live album. Their debut album, Take Off Your Colours, was released in 2008 and included singles such as "Save It for the Bedroom," "Finders Keepers," and "Kiss and Tell," with the latter two reaching numbers 33 and 42 in the UK Singles Chart. Their second album, Hold Me Down, released in 2010, debuted at number five in the UK. The third album, Sinners Never Sleep, released in 2011, peaked at number three, was certified gold, and featured the top 50 single "Loverboy." Their fourth album, Cavalier Youth, released in 2014, debuted at number one and included singles "Lived a Lie" and "Room to Breathe." Their fifth album, Night People, was released in 2017 to mixed reviews.

Confronting the truth can be difficult, but for You Me At Six’s Josh Franceschi, it was the spark that lit their brilliant new album, and a return to reclaim their roots.

You Me At Six are giving fans a sneak peek into their upcoming album 'Truth Decay'.

The record will now be released in February.

The band will be playing two intimate gigs in Leeds and Glasgow, with tickets going on sale tomorrow (January 10th).

The track is the third cut from the Surry rock band’s new record, ‘Truth Decay’.

The full project will be released on January 27th via Underdog Records / AWAL Recordings.
