They gave a first airing to the track at All Points East.

Gorillaz have debuted a new collaboration with Tame Impala, ‘New Gold’.

The track got a first spin during the former’s All Points East headline set on Friday (19th August).

Before playing the track, Damon Albarn explained to the crowd: “We’re gonna play an entirely new song now. It’s kind of a mad song, to be honest with you, and I want to introduce Tame Impala … and Bootie Brown.”

Tame Impala are set to headline All Points East themselves this coming Thursday, 25th August.
