About SZA
Solána Imani Rowe, known professionally as SZA, is an American singer-songwriter born on November 8, 1989. She gained recognition through her diaristic songwriting and genre explorations. After releasing two self-produced extended plays, she signed with Top Dawg Entertainment in 2013. Her debut album, Ctrl, released in 2017, received critical acclaim and appeared on several year-end lists. She collaborated on high-profile singles such as "All the Stars" with Kendrick Lamar in 2018, which received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations, and "Kiss Me More" with Doja Cat in 2021, which earned her a Grammy Award. Her second album, SOS, released in 2022, achieved notable chart success, becoming the first woman to spend 100 weeks in the top ten of the Billboard 200 and setting a record for the longest-running US top-ten by a Black musician. The album's fifth single, "Kill Bill," was among the best-selling songs of 2023 and reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 'Snooze' singer spoke about her interactions with Swift at the Grammy Awards.
