BROCKHAMPTON have released ‘The Family’, their final album as a collective, as well a surprise parting gift, ‘TM’
Following its founding in 2010, the Texas group has now disbanded after 12 years together.
About This Track
The seventh track from BROCKHAMPTON's third studio album 'Saturation III', 'BLEACH' arrived in December 2017 after a preview in the short film 'Billy Star'. Produced by Romil Hemnani and Jabari Manwa, the song has been described as an abstract R&B power ballad built around a woozy synth line with G-funk inflections.
Each member's verse addresses a personal or internal struggle. Dom McLennon opens with a portrait of isolation and self-doubt, the homebody who keeps his anxieties locked inside. JOBA's contribution turns to fleeting highs and false hope found in hotel rooms and temporary feelings, whilst bearface's closing refrain asks whether mistakes can become change, whether cold winds might kill the flame. The production holds the confessions together with a heartsick climax, the collective's voices tangled in the same question: who got the feeling, and why does it make them cry?
"BLEACH" is a track by BROCKHAMPTON, from the album SATURATION III, released 15th December 2017. The track is 4:33 long. It's filed under Hip-Hop/Rap. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 6 articles about BROCKHAMPTON.
