Lyrics
[Refrain] Bump in the night Bump in the night [Verse 1] I see figures that don’t exist Haunted after permanently in my fears Holy smoke, what was that noise? Calm down, Marina, yeah, you must be paranoid [Chorus] I heard, I heard a bump in the night I heard, I heard a terrible cry When I’m all alone in an empty home I heard, I heard a bump in the night [Refrain] Bump in the night Bump in the night [Verse 2] I got my heart in my mouth Haven’t got a doubt Somebody else is living in this house I can feel you permanently, watching me Why can’t you just let me go? Why can’t you just let me be? [Chorus] I heard, I heard a bump in the night I heard, I heard a terrible cry When I’m all alone in an empty home I heard, I heard a bump in the night [Post-Chorus] Yeah, a bump in the night (Wooh) Yeah, a bump in the night (Wooh) A bump in the night [Bridge] You see the change, in the night And I watch you fade, in the light [Chorus] I heard, I heard a bump in the night I heard, I heard a terrible cry When I’m all alone in an empty home I heard, I heard a bump in the night [Post-Chorus] Yeah, a bump in the night (Wooh) Yeah, a bump in the night (Wooh) A bump in the night
