Waterparks is an American band formed in Houston, Texas, in 2011. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Awsten Knight, backing vocalist and lead guitarist Geoff Wigington, and backing vocalist and drummer Otto Wood. They have released three EPs, two independently and one through Equal Vision. Their debut studio album, Double Dare, was released on November 4, 2016, via Equal Vision. This was followed by their second album, Entertainment, released on January 26, 2018, also through Equal Vision. In 2019, the band announced they had left Equal Vision and signed with Hopeless, releasing their third album, Fandom, on October 11, 2019. They later signed with 300 Entertainment and released their fourth album, Greatest Hits, on May 21, 2021. In 2022, Waterparks signed with Fueled by Ramen, and their fifth album, Intellectual Property, was released in April 2023. Their music has been described as pop-punk, pop rock, electropop, and alternative rock, with recent releases also categorized as hyperpop and hip hop/rap.
