John Feldmann is an American producer, songwriter and the frontman of the punk band Goldfinger, and one of the most prolific hitmakers in pop-punk and rock. From his base in Los Angeles he has produced and co-written across a vast catalogue, working with The Used, Escape The Fate, Atreyu, 5 Seconds of Summer, Black Veil Brides, Avril Lavigne, blink-182, MOD SUN and All Time Low. Born in 1967, he built his reputation in the early 2000s by ushering a wave of emo and post-hardcore bands into the mainstream, and has since become a go-to collaborator for artists chasing big, polished, radio-ready choruses. Equal parts songwriter and producer, Feldmann is known for an energetic, hands-on studio style and an instinct for the hook that has kept him at the centre of the genre for over two decades.
