Greg Kurstin is an American producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose musicianship sets him slightly apart from the pop production pack. A Los Angeles native and accomplished jazz pianist who played with the likes of Bobby Hutcherson, he carries that harmonic depth into the studio. He first surfaced widely in the duo the bird and the bee with Inara George, then became one of the most in-demand writer-producers around, most famously co-writing and producing Adele's Hello. His collaborators range from Sia, Lily Allen, Ellie Goulding, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk and Halsey to Maren Morris, and his more left-field work with Beck, Gorillaz and Liam Gallagher speaks to his range. He has won nine Grammy Awards, including back-to-back Producer of the Year honours and Album, Record and Song of the Year for his work on Adele. Across thousands of credits, he remains the rare hitmaker as comfortable with a jazz chord as a chart hook.
